Both Octavia & Flora Dora teapots have been finished with hand enamelled detailing.  This ‘print and enamel’ technique was very common in the teapots of the 1920s and 1930s and have a Braille-like feeling on the surface rather than a ‘flat’ effect.  It also means each one is slightly different, making them a truly unique and  collectable teapot.

This first collection of Utterly English Teaware has been made in Longton – an area of Stoke that has a  very special heritage, being home to the makers of the some of the most fashionable and collectable teapots of the early 20th Century such as Shelley, Tuscan and Paragon china.

Like the vintage teapots of 90 years ago, you will find the backstamp on all the teapots for sale in this collection are also marked with the exact location of production.
